In loving memory of Gerald Wayne Smith (Caldwell, Idaho), born in Nampa, Idaho, who departed this world on August 14, 2025 at the age of 87. As we bid Gerald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gerald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Smith and Sarah Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Kyle (Jana) and Andy (Norma); and his sister Norma. He is also survived by three granddaughters, five great grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Canyon Hill Cemetery (2024 N Illinois Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605).
