It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen Smith Sr. of Caldwell, Idaho, who passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Herman and Pauline Smith (Stilwell); his wife Nancy Kay Baker; and his siblings, Frances, Sandy and Alen Ray.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Kay; his sisters, Cynthia and Velma; his son James Jr.; his grandchildren, Victor, David, Kristine, James III and Margaret Kay; his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Joey, Isabela, David IV, Angelo, Amora, Hazel and Noel; and his great great grandchild Amina.
