He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James Williamson and Ella Douglas Williamson (Weiser); his wife Carol Joly; and his siblings, Clifford and Ollie May Helton (Williamson).
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas (Sheila), Ian (Christie), Adam (Kelly) and Matthew; his grandchildren, Caleb, Kyle, Warner, Drew, Gabrielle, Angelina and Emma; his sister-in-law Janis Joly Weber; and also Violet. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36527).
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Breakthrough T1D or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
