She was predeceased by : her parents, William Beyerle and Esther Linscheid Beyerle; and her husband Ken. She is survived by : her sister Lorena Bliven; her children, Patty Brown (Steve), Curtis Brown (Laurie) and Bill Brown (Karen); her grandchildren, Shawn Morrison (Heather), Devin Brown (Sarah), Alan Brown (Sasha), Ian and Megan Brown; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer and Zachary Morrison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Laverne's name will be made to the Petaluma Christian Church or Berean Christian Church, Gernada, California, or to a charity of choice.
