She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie T. Ryals and Edith L. Ryals; her stepfather George Eddins; her sisters, Georgia Eddins and Judy Schartzer; her sisters-in-law, Leta Ryals and Joyce Ryals; her daughter-in-law Tina Vassar; and her granddaughter Mandy Burgess.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Vassar; her siblings, Donald Ryals, Elden Ryals (Butch), Gary Ryals (Cathy) and Shirley Rowe; her children, Gregory Vassar and Lorie Blackshear (Randy); her grandchildren, Kira Elmer (Will), JoAnna Gossman (Mathew), Deidra Coker (Mathew), Alisha Burgess and Bryan Vassar (Savannah); and her great grandchildren, Jaren, Julian Gossman, Emma, Lucas Elmer, Elijah, Jonathan and Natalie Coker.
