He was predeceased by: his parents, Karsten Clausen and Emma Clausen; his wife Gertrude Otten; his son Ken; and his great grandchild Aurora.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Halvorson (Mark); his daughter-in-law Wendy Coussens; and his daughter Janet Brooks (Dana). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
