She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Frank Pena and Elena Pena; her former life partner Raul Ramos; her children, Ricardo Victor Lozano, Havey Ramos (Trena) and Maria Castellanos (Carlos); and her siblings, Tom Pena (Marion), Roman Pena (Erin), Ted Pena (Julie), Alex Pena (Toni), Yolanda Cavazos Pena, Margaret Rosales Pena (Juan) and Anita Cuellar (Ronal). She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
