He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Helmick and Freida Helmick (Nitzel); and his siblings, Bob, Gary, Bud Helmick, Beulah Lytle, Irene Canaday, Vivian Smith and Rose Darnell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ed, Tim Helmick, Bernice Rogers, Cleo Bramlett and Karen Wildman; his children, Kimberly Renea Emmen and Scott Aaron Helmick (Jerrimi); his stepson Ron Burk; his grandchildren, Stephanie Fay Emmen, Scotti Jo Bolt (Charli), Marcus Aaron Emmen (Ruby), Riley Kate Helmick and Tyce Jacob Helmick; and his great grandchildren, Fynnli Faye Bolt, Cali Jo Bolt and Robin Ray Emmen.
Charitable donations can be made in Aaron's name to The American Legion Post 60 in Cascade, Idaho.
