He is survived by: his children, Robert Hoiland, Jr. of Cedar Bluff and Nancy Carlson of Tazewell; his grandchildren, Brittany Carlson of Tazewell and Alex Carlson of Radford, Virginia; his wife Peggy; and his stepdaughters, Belinda McDowell, Shelia Gray of Bluefield and Barbara Cluckey of Michigan. He is also survived by one great-grandchild; two brothers and one sister.
