We are sad to announce that, on July 5, 2025, at the age of 75, Roy Eugene Mortensen (Cataldo, Idaho), born in Salem, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Mortensen and Georgia Pense. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Mortensen; his sons, Jacob Mortensen (Rhiannon) and Gerald Mortensen; his stepdaughter Melody Peterson; his grandchildren, Cory Fleck, Reilli Johnson, Colton, Rikki Hickman, Hailey Peterson and Sydnee Mortensen; his great grandchildren, Laramie, Lindy Johnson and Luna Jameson; his sister Ann Bryson (Dan); his father-in-law Floyd Klein; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin Klein, Kerry Klein and Lonnie.

Any donations can be made to a local animal shelter if desired.
