She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Dance and Emma Dance; her husband John Buchanan; and her siblings, Cal, Phillip and Adriene.
She is survived by: her brother Don; and her children, Todd Kendall (Teri) and Jodi Schaffer. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
