We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 67, Ernest Raymond Long (Chubbuck, Idaho) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ernest is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ernest's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Raymond Long and LaVenna Rae Brangham Long; his sister Shanon; and his pet Cracker-Jack. He is survived by: his children, Ember Anderson (Justun) of Richland, WA, Katie Long of Pocatello, ID, Chance Long (Bonnie) and Sarah Long of Harrisburg, OR; and his siblings, Ronald Long, Lynn Kingery, Jane Ann Christensen (Mads), Nancy Ames (Randy), Donna Rae Perry (Dan) and Bonnie Hansen (Jeff). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
