He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Raymond Long and LaVenna Rae Brangham Long; his sister Shanon; his son Josh Tarbett; and his pet Cracker-Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Ember Anderson (Justun) of Richland, WA, Katie Long of Pocatello, ID, Chance Long (Bonnie), Sarah Long of Harrisburg, OR, Nicholas Tarbet of Pocatello, ID, Laura Gerber, Maria Shipley and Lisa Hainline; and his siblings, Ronald Long, Lynn Kingery, Jane Ann Christensen (Mads), Nancy Ames (Randy), Donna Rae Perry (Dan) and Bonnie Hansen (Jeff). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
