He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Voyal Harris and Fonda Rae Peck Harris; and his sisters, Sonja Kay Harris and Tonja Rae Harris. He is survived by: his sisters, Tammy Harris and Tracie Lynn Harris; and his nieces, Joan Hamilton and Andrea Hamilton. He is also survived by four great nephews.
