He was predeceased by: his mother Sara Broemmeling (Susie); and his grandparents, Leo, Mary Broemmeling, Oliver and Madeline Espy.
He is survived by: his father Edward Broemmeling; his brother Jay Broemmeling; his wife Joyce Broemmeling; his stepdaughter Kristy Parkin; his stepgranddaughter Averie Parkin; his stepmother Paula Broemmeling; and his stepsiblings, Kent Nelson and Kari Nelson. He is also survived by his family, his best friend.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (625 E Haycraft Ave, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jon's honor to Real Life Recovery Ministry or The Way Home, both of which are located in Coeur d'Alene.
