He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" and Ethel Plummer (Sanders); his wife Laverne Riley; his brothers, John and Nuke; and his son-in-law David Newman.
He is survived by: his brother Bill Jr. (Nuke); his daughters, Nancy Lane (Dan), Janet Wetmore (Jim), Susan Copeland (Kurt), Penny Clemens (Loren), Margie Newman and Mary Jane Tihonovich (Mark); his son-in-law Paul Behm; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Troy (Mike), Brian Lane (Chaz), Brandy Behm, Jason Behm (Amy), Jessica Behm, Cari Copeland, Doug Mize, Kori Mize (Aimee), James Mize, Todd Newman, Shauna Garrahy (Jon), Brittnee Naake (Colin) and Mikayla Tihonovich. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and lastly his brothers and sisters.
