He is survived by : his parents, Jude Doty and Angela Doty; his wife Katrina Doty (Asbury); his sons, Andrew, William and Paul; his siblings, Stephen, Benjamin, Timothy Doty, Grace, Faith and Charity Doty; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Debra Asbury; and his cousin Christian Wu. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.

“I never met Zachariah and only knew him through his sister, but I know his family was something he worshipped and loved, despite any differences or disagreements they had. They say the best of us are taken early, really the best of us never leave but live on in the lives they touched or made, like his Sons. If you listen closely, I'm sure you'll be able to hear him in their laughter, and see a piece of him in every smile. I'm truly sorry for your family's loss, my heart goes out to all of you.”
