We announce the death of Nick William McDonough (Cottonwood, Idaho), born in Ontario, Oregon, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 92. Nick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick McDonough and Elizabeth McDonough (Smit); his former wife Carol Sue McDonough of Mary's Catholic Church; his daughter Mary Kate McDonough; his siblings, Michael, Patrick McDonough and Margie Marchel; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Paffile, Kirt Adams and Della McDonough.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie Seubert McDonough; his children, Joni Kwast (Steve), Elizabeth Thiede (Jeff), Meg Krikawa (Ed), Theresa McKeegan (John) and Nicholas McDonough (Stephanie); his stepsons, Phillip Seubert, Chris Seubert (Jenny) and Nick Seubert (Molly); and his siblings, Joan Rasmussen (Frank), Kathleen Paffile, Nellie Douglas (Larry), John McDonough (Maureen) and Rosemary Adams. He is also survived by friends.
