We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2024, at the age of 65, Melanie Snider of Dover, Idaho, born in Albany, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In bidding Melanie adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Melanie once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Davidson and Margaret Davidson; her husband Rick Snider; and her brother William Davidson. She is survived by : her children, Julia Snider (Matt Kissinger) of San Jose, CA and Zach Snider (Grisel Puig-Snider) of Los Osos, CA; her grandchildren, Alexander, Ysabel and Aidan; and her sister Dawn Burchette of Timberlake, NC..

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (601 S Lincoln Ave, Sandpoint, ID 83864).
