It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Barney of Downey, Idaho, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former life partner Lynette Barney; and his sister Sherry. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Maurine Willden; his children, Troy Barney, Kory Barney, Casey Barney, Joey Hauschidt, Zachary Hauschildt, Nicole Andrus Raza and Levi Andrus; and his siblings, Irene Gardner, Robert Barney, Leslie Barney, Roma Lee Peterson and Michele Harris. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lindquist Mortuaries and Cemetery (848 7th St, Ogden, UT 84404). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Steven's name to Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect, whose mission and programs reflect Steven's love and care for his sister Sherry.
