She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Ricks and Alice Ricks. She is survived by: her siblings, Lajuan, Sheryl, Alan and Deborah Ricks; her husband Ralph Vaughn Smith; and her children, Quinn Smith (Marilynn), Garland Smith (JoEllen), Leilani Smith, David Smith, Melanie Smith and Nathan Smith (Lachele). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
