He was predeceased by: his parents, George Urban Valantine and Vina Jones Nielson; and his brothers, Kenneth Richard and Carlos Valantine. He is survived by: his wife Edna Valantine; his children, Monty Valantine (Vicki), Leann Tuckett (Terry), Duane Valantine (Jill) and Melissa McNiel; and his sister Peggy Rowe (Tom). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
