She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Arant and Margaret Arant. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Donald Shannahan; her sons, James Shannahan (Lisa), Patrick Shannahan (Ruben Cardenas) and Matthew Shannahan (Teri); her grandchildren, Bryan Shannahan, Kevin Shannahan (Avalon), Mick Shannahan (Shania), Caitlin Shannahan, Megan Teunissen (Derek), Ryan Shannahan and Alexa Shannahan; and her great grandchildren, Ivy, Arya Shannahan, Eileen Teunissen, Milo and Wells Teunissen.
