He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Hedges and Dorothy Hedges; and his siblings, Joyce, Kay and Jimmy.

He is survived by: his children, Brian Hedges (Terri) of Eagle, Cheryl Northrup (John) of Star and Ronald Hedges (Melinda) of Meridian; and his siblings, Greta Cummings of Caldwell and John Hedges (Linda) of Caldwell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
