He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Richards and Myrtle Richards; his wife Melvena Staley; and his brothers, Darrell, Val and Cleve.
He is survived by: his brother Randell; his children, Teresa Klingler (Weston), Kevin, Todd (Julie), Tammy Egbert (Max), Daris and Jared; and his sisters, Marva, Vila and Veda. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
