He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Hezeltine and Reginald Houtz; his wife Christina Leigh Lockie; and his siblings, Clinton Houtz and Carole Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah and Adam; his adoptive children, Brahm, Cade, Sway, Abellah, Michael and Elizabeth Grace; his stepchildren, Brock Opfer, Jesse Opfer and Bryceson Opfer; his granddaughter Chayce Miller; his sisters, Sharon Church-Pratt (Dave), Karen Fraley (Bob) and Suzan Houtz-Belzer (Bruce); and his brother-in-law Michael "Mike" Sullivan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
