Though Howard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Howard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton Russell and Lila Russell; his wife Tola A. Burlile; his daughter Janie; and his son-in-law Leslie Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Davis, Karen Davis (Alvin), Connie Perkins (Dan) and Wayne Russell (Evie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
