Linda Barrera Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Barrera in Emmett, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fletcher Max Van Leer and Esther Mae Quackenbush; her brothers, Richard, Pat and Leon; her children, Roberta, Donald, Steven and Patrick; her foster children, Anita and Daniel; her friend Misty Thyme; Manuel, Lucy, Amy and Billy Jr. Linda (Billy).
In 2020, Linda contracted COVID-19 and was hospitalized for over two weeks. Due to ongoing health issues and the effects of long COVID, she moved to Emmett, Idaho, to be closer to medical care and her grandson Josh, his wife Mary, and their children.
