Lynn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Lynn by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Lynn is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Lynn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Derrall Ernest Morriss and Dorothy Smith; and his sister Ann. He is survived by: his wife Lois Marlene Thornock; his brothe Larry; Karen (Kevin), Gary (Barbara), Colleen (Duane) and Steven (Katrina). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Downtown Emmett Building (1001 E 2nd St, Emmett, ID 83617). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Emmett Cemetery (1205 N Washington Ave, Emmett, ID 83617).
