We bid farewell to Walter Wheeler of Emmett, Idaho, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2026 at the age of 83. Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wheeler and Viola Wheeler; and his siblings, Ramona Rogers, Martha Climer, Paul Enwards, May Inwards and Blanche Inwards.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Wheeler; his brother Don Wheeler (Sharon); his children, Debbie Katz (Jeff) and Wally Wheeler Jr. (Laura); his stepchildren, Shane VonWald (Julie), Tanya Van Leuven (Kirby), Deon Budell (Warren), Tanda Charters (Wilbur), Troy White and Chuck White; his grandchildren, Kyle Wheeler, Monika Hutchins (Eric) and Tony Wheeler (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Anna and Theo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Gem County Senior Center.
