It is with sadness that the passing of Steven Slifer of Filer, Idaho is shared. Steven, born on April 5, 1950, passed away on August 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Steven will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Steven by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Steven is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Steven’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Slifer (Lindaman) and Ivan Slifer of Wellsburg; and his brother Stuart. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Elsy; his son-in-law Kelley Steen; his brothers, Sid (Beth) and Spencer (Cindy); and his brother-in-law Dan Boyd.
The family suggests donations to Habitat for Humanity Magic Valley in his memory.
