She was predeceased by : her parents, Frances Phipps and Claude Phipps; and her siblings, Ramona, Gwendolyn and Lewis.

She is survived by : her sisters, Edith, Priscilla and Charlene; her children, Donald Gunnarson (Toni), Eric Gunnarson and Marlena Austin; her grandchildren, James Gunnarson, Keysha Larson (Jason) and Sadie Austin; and her great grandchildren, Neo and Alice Larson.
