He was predeceased by: his parents, Suzanne Claire Heinl and John Tucker, Jr.; his stepmother Marilyn Tucker; his parents-in-law, Hyrum and Mildred Mecham; his siblings, Suzette, Doug Tucker and Mike Guptail; his brothers-in-law, Sherman Mecham and Larry Mecham; and his grandson McKeon Whitten.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Mecham; his children, John Tucker IV (Paula), Jana Jensen (Matt), Christopher Tucker (Renee), Kaylene Whitten (Michael), Klarice Johnson (Brian), Brady Tucker (Wendy) and Amber Tucker; and his siblings, Richard Guptail, Tim Tucker (Kathy), Cindy Quinton (Mike), Jeannie Kaye Rosalez and Sheryl Sauer (Bob). He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, and 7 (soon to be 9) great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Firth Stake Center (823 675 E, Basalt, ID 83218). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Firth Cemetery (615 E 750 N, Firth, ID 83236).
