He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyle Esplin and Lillian Armstrong Esplin; his wife Carol Ann Holm; his son Bruce; and his siblings, Dalyle and Elaine.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry, Gerald and Elouise; and his children, Keith Esplin (Caryn), Brian Esplin (Trina) and Blair Esplin (Cheryl). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 48 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Firth Stake Center (823 675 E, Basalt, ID 83218). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (793 E 1200 N, Shelley, ID 83274).
Ronald was a great example to the community and known for his kindness, charity and generosity.
