He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Pokibro and Josephine Sandy Pokibro; his aunt "Ida" Horsehead of Idaho; his siblings, Merceline "Bel" Boyer, Ezra Pokibro and McNivens "Kay" Pokibro; his sons, Lionel Kay "Hootie" Pokibro and Shawn Russell Pokibro; his nephews, Robert Sloss, Vincent Boyer and Garth Towersap; and his grandparents, Isaac Sandy, Belle Venus, AC Pokibro and Pooyah Pokibro.
He is survived by: his daughter Lanelle Pokibro; his sister Zelphia Pokibro Towersap; his grandchildren, Darryl Lynne Timbana (Mel), Kiana Pokibro, Marissa Pokibro (Chase Davis), KayLynn Pokibro and Steven Pokibro; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Shawn Pokibro, Paisley Pokibro and Raylee-Anne Pokibro.
Viewing was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hawker Funeral Home (132 S Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, ID 83221). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
