He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Brown and Leonard Smith Sr.; his brothers, Richard Smith and Everett Wayne Smith; his former wife Darlene Mitchell Smith; and his grandparents, Charles Smith, Emma Longee, James Brown and Agnes Lucky.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Rose Smith, Tara Theresa Smith-McArthur, Magic Merle Smith (April Smith) and Tyree Autumn Smith; his wife Carolyn Smith of Fort Hall, Idaho; his siblings, Leonard Smith Jr. (Linda Parker) and Francine Van Maanen (Rick Van Maanen); his grandchildren, MorningRose (Tony), Pacer, Daysha, Jameson, Javery, Mason, Magic Jr., Carter, Kataya, Tiger and Mylo; and his children, Jason Smith, Todd Adams, Vidal Lavatta, Terrence Dawes, Jordan Plenty Hawk, Alex Smith, Tony Van Maanen, Natalia Lavatta, Shanna Dawes, Marci Dawes, Stephanie Smith, Natalie Smith, Erica Van Maanen and Monica Van Maanen. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
