He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hasfurther and Ed Hasfurther; and his brothers, Urban and Gene. He is survived by: his sister Marie Nearing of Moscow, Idaho; his nieces, Karolyn Nearing of Hillsboro and Karla Horton (Pat) of Spokane, Washington; his great-nieces, Lexi and Emma Horton; his cousin Diane Meyer (Roy); Brian (Angie), Bryce (Terri) and Jay (Jody).
A rosary was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (138 N Jackson St, Genesee, ID 83832). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
