He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Carl and Verna Murray (McFarland); his brother Stanley Wells Lawwill; and his former wife Stella Murray (Gonzalez). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Jo Peterson; and his children, Jim and Darlene. He is also survived by one of five siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel (737 Main St, Gooding, ID 83330).
Jim was a member of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, and donations in his name may be made to that parish.
