He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Palmer Thurston and Noral Thurston; and his brother Blaine. He is survived by: his sisters, Noradene Sorensen and Diana Thurston; his wife Rachel; and his children, Marintha (Blake Halladay), Lisa (Joseph Taylor), Krista (Mike Blackmore), Joanna (Derreck Calkins), James (Jamie Thurston), Cindy Thurston, Sheron (Eric Berg) and Cannon (Nicole Thurston).
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2060 Niter Bench Rd, Grace, ID 83241). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
