He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Covert and Marintha Skinner Covert; his brothers, Larry Orr, Edwin Covert and Gaylin Covert; and his siblings-in-law, Faye Orr, Sonja Covert and Gus Nance.
He is survived by: his former spouse Kris Dutton; his wife Deb Covert of Grace; his children, Jared Covert of Tremonton, Misty Davis (Chris) of Soda Springs, Furman "Spanky" Starnes (Tina) of Grace and Janae Starnes of Sumter; his siblings, Theo Covert of Preston and MarLane Covert Nance of Cleveland; and his sister-in-law Lynda Covert of Cleveland, Idaho.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren with 2 on the way, 1 great-great grandchild.
