He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelly (Ida Bell Purdy) and Calif; his daughter Elaine Chivers; and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Doug Purdy (Jackie) of Lewiston, Amy Ratliff of Kooskia, Kellye Whiteman of Elk City, Jolene Mickey (James) of Reno, Nev, Marcy Howell (Kevin) of Orofino, Monique Whiteman of Kooskia, O'Melodi Whiteman of Spokane Valley and Wahs; his grandchildren, Stephan, Rachel Chivers, Kelsey Whiteman and Jordan Fowler (Teylyn); his siblings, Dan (Yvonne), Sue and Virginia; Dave Chivers of Denver, Colo.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
