He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Hartley and Edith Hartley (Higley); his wife Val; and his daughter-in-law Renon Hartley. He is survived by : his children, Marilyn Thueson (Gail), Leonard Hartley Jr. (Melissa), Douglas Hartley (Shelly), Bonnie Cottrell (Bill) and William Hartley.
