With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Irene Eakin (Hailey, Idaho), born in Buhl, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hobson and Frances Merle Hobson; her husband James Ivan Eakin; her daughter Pamela Eakin Pierce; and her brother Lawrence Hobson.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Michael, Patrick Eakin, Catherine Venosdel, Nancy Overturf and Deborah Hepworth. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mom will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and her contributions to her community.
