He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Kassebaum and Dorothy Kassebaum; and his sister Barbara Tuckley. He is survived by : his close friend Sandy Frederick; his niece Wendy Tuckley; and his stepchildren, Mary DeRosa and Paul Hughes (Chris Jensen).
