He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Murphy and Ida Murphy; his siblings, Tut Platt and Leo Murphy; his wife Marge; his son Pat Murphy; Jill Flanagin.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Michael, Patrick Leo and Kathleen Rebecca; Steve, Neil, Janet and Julienne. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
