It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Lee Jones Taylor (Hayden, Idaho), who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gumbo Smith and Alice Smith; and her siblings, Sandee Lekse, Jim Smith and Larry Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Foeller (Joseph Foeller) and Deana Netherton (Derik Allen); her grandsons, Cameron Kinney and Nicholas Foeller; her sister-in-law Marlyce Smith; her nephews, Dan Hanson, Jeremy Lannholm and Nicholas Connell; her great-niece Skyler Hanson; and her close friend Mimi Horine.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Corbin Park (129 S Corbin Rd, Post Falls, ID 83854).
In lieu of flowers, the family will honor Dixie's wish for a Viking-style farewell through a floral tribute. Contributions may be made via Venmo to her daughters.
