Donald will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Donald by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Donald is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Donald’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Courneya and Estelle Courneya. He is survived by: his wife Anna Lee Burr (Annie); his daughter Ann Marie Sluka (Steve); his grandsons, Jacob Sluka (Bree Ferguson) and Michael Sluka (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Claira Sluka, Rylen Sluka and Luke Sluka; and his brothers, Jim Courneya (Andi) of Gladwin and Bill Courneya (Cheryl) of Clio, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
