He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Bertie James; and his sister Joyce Neeley. He is survived by: his children, Troy James, Jr. (Deborah), Tiffany Wildharber (Matt) and Trisha McClelland (Sean); his stepdaughter Tawni Germanetti (John); his grandchildren, Sarah, Stephanie, Laura, Andrew, Tory, Jackson, Maureen, Patrick, Katie, Emily, Declan, Tanner and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Alyse, Eli, Jenna, Tucker, Kinsley, Edie, Fae, Lily, Charlie, Emmylou, Isabeau, Eloise, Esme and Everett; and his siblings, Geneva Combs of Texas, June Dovell (James) of California and Billy James of Oklahoma.
