He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Jones and Joan Jones; and his brothers, Duane Jones and Mark Jones. He is survived by: his siblings, Doug Jones, Bobby Jones (Debby) and Helen Jackson Jones; his children, David Clayton Jones and Shana Gysen (Curt); his grandchildren, SrA Cody Gysen and Amber Gysen; and his former wife Donna Jones (Joyce O'Donnell). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to Calvary Chapel in Winnemucca, NV.
