He is survived by: his mother Louise Madewell; his spouse Joly Gibbs; his children, Nate Madewell (Jenn) and MacKenzie Sauer (John); his granddaughter Lucy Sauer; his siblings, Billy Madewell and Jody Lawson (Tim); and his niece Kirstin Taylor.
