She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur William and Ada Lowe Hart; and her husband Charles Hymas Shumway. She is survived by: her children, Anne (Ron), Charles Brent (Jan), Kirt (Julie), Karen (Val), Lee (Dawn), Laurie (Mark), Janeen (Kris) and Ken (Cynthia); her brother Bret Hart; and her half-sister Jocelyn Faux. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 90 great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed her line-dancing classes which she attended until the beginning of the pandemic.
